What brew kit can I expect?

We release 4 awesome new all grain brew kits with every issue of MASHED Magazine every 3 months. We generally offer dark beers (e.g. stout, porter), APA/IPAs, lager/pilsner, ale/bitter or one wild card (eg NEIPA Colada or Brut IPA) each issue. You can choose one of the new ones, or one from another release. The choice is yours! If you don’t fancy choosing, just let us know what style of beer you prefer (this is easy to do in your account) and we’ll send you the latest kit for that style.

How often will I get a delivery?

This is a quarterly subscription, so you will get one brew kit and one printed magazine every 3 months.

When will I get my first brew kit?

You’ll get your first Brew Kit delivery on the next release. We ship them out in late March, June, September and December each year.  

What do I get in my all grain brew kit?

Each brew kit contains all the grains, hops and yeast you need to make your beer, all weighed out and with detailed brewing instructions. But it does not contain any equipment. Depending on the ABV, the kits make from 17L (30 pints) to 23 L (40 pints). 

What’s in MASHED Magazine?

MASHED Homebrewing Magazine brings you tonnes of inspiration, all grain recipes, interviews, and pro tips and tricks, plus news from our awesome homebrewing community. All set out in an eye catching, printed A5 magazine (60 pages). You also get online access to the magazine and all back issues.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime and your subscription will stop at the end of your subscription period. Please note: If you don’t cancel before the end of your subscription period, you’ll be automatically charged for renewing your subscription. Don’t worry, we’ll email you before your subscription ends to remind you. (Be sure to add gareth@darkfarm.co.uk to your safe list to ensure our email gets through!). You are of course welcome to restart your subscription at any time.

Unfortunately, we are not able to send brew kits to addresses outside of the UK.

Allergens

All of our brew kits contain gluten and yeast, and are packed in an environment where nuts (including peanuts) and other allergens are present.
